The College and Career Academy will be located on the Benton Place Campus.  The building will be approximately 40,000 square feet, and will provide career-technical and college classes for 11th and 12th grade students.

Our first cohort launched in Fall 2019 in partnership with GNTC. College and Career Academies are designed to prepare students for a four-year college, or to enter the workforce with technical credentials or an Associate’s Degree.  Academy programs also provide instruction in soft skills and internships so students experience hands-on training to develop job-related and employability skills.

The College and Career Academy provides eight pathways for students to choose from: 

• The School of Law & Justice and Emergency Management

• The School of Nursing, Sports Medicine, and Therapeutic Services

• The School of Information Technology

• The School of Architecture and Construction

• The School of Welding and Machine Tool Technology

• The School of Education

• The School of Logistics, Distribution, and Supply Chain Management

• The School of Industrial Systems Technology, Robotics, and Mechatronics
