CLEANING

  1. Power Down: Switch the Panel off and unplug the board from the electrical outlet
  2. Use the Right Cloth: Use only 11% cotton (think old, soft tshirt) or a microfiber cloth to avoid damaging the display.
  3. Apply Cleaner to CLOTH NEVER TO THE PANEL SCREEN: Lightly spray 70-90% Isopropyl Alcohol on to the cloth, never directly onto the screen.
  4. Wipe Gently: Gently wipe the screen in a single direction - top to bottom
  5. Avoid Sensitive Areas: Avoid the narrow sides of the touch bezel (outer screen edge), ventilation holes, and input.output ports.
  6. Dry: Use a clean, dry microfiber cloth to remove any remaining moisture.

What to Avoid:

  • DO NOT spray liquids directly onto the screen
  • DO NOT use ammonia-based cleaners, abrasive cleaners, or heavy detergents
  • DO NOT apply excessive pressure to the screen
  • DO NOT leave excessive liquid residue on the panel
  • DO NOT hang decorations, especially lights, on the board. This negatively affects the sensors on the touchscreen.
