Staci Wilson, a second-grade teacher at Battlefield Primary School, was the News 12 Golden Apple Award winner and is known for going above and beyond.
“Mrs. Wilson is a fantastic teacher. When I think about Ms. Wilson, I think about her strengths with student relationships and how she put her kiddos first, always. She does great with parents,” said Battlefield Primary Principal Julie Robbins.
Mrs. Wilson says she wants kids to remember this about her: “Miss Wilson loved me. She loved me when I was mean. She loved me when I was sweet. She loved me all the time.”
